A 7 days Kenya Safari taking you to the most spectacular wildlife parks in Kenya with alluring diversity of attractions and varied memorable experiences. The safari begins with Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most famous and finest game sanctuary with wildlife in such variety and abundance. Our second destination is Amboseli National Park, which sits on the lower slopes of mighty Mount Kilimanjaro – Africa’s highest Mountain. The animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain will delight the photography enthusiast. Our final destination is Tsavo West National Park which offers a rare opportunity to experience one of Kenya’s most renowned game-viewing areas, with special attractions including Mzima Springs & underwater hippo watching, Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary among others. Tsavo National Park is unique and its habitat include open plains alternating with Savannah bush and semi desert scrub, acacia woodlands; rocky ridges and outcrops and more extensive ranges presenting nature and wildlife that inspire imagination.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Depart Nairobi by road, driving through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve with scenic views en route. Arrive Maasai Mara in time for lunch at your accommodation and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive. Maasai Mara Game Reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. After game drive, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Maasai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, the search for great predators and plain game continues today during extensive game drives. On the rolling plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive predators; cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. On this day, you have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Maasai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. After a full day of exciting activities, retreat to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Maasai Mara Game Reserve – Amboseli National Park

Rise early to enjoy a scrumptious breakfast at your accommodation. Depart by road to Amboseli National Park with en route lunch in Nairobi arriving Amboseli National Park in the afternoon. Upon arrival in Amboseli, enjoy a late afternoon game drive en route to your accommodation. Amboseli National Park shelters more than 420 species of birds and has enormous elephant population and other big game attracted to the area by underground springs fed from the melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 4: Amboseli National Park

After a fully served breakfast in the morning, you will set out for the game drive which will offer you magnificent views of Mt. Kilimanjaro with a snow capped summit which appears to be pink in the rising early morning sunshine. Apart from Mt. Kilimanjaro, look out for wildlife animals such as Elephants, Giraffes, Lions, Black Rhinos and Hippos. Have picnic lunch with in the wilderness and later embark on the afternoon game drive with an option of Maasai village visit. Return in the evening to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 : Amboseli National Park – Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast, depart via the Sheitani lava flow for Tsavo West National Park to arrive in time for lunch at your accommodation Tsavo West National Park. The Park is a vast expansion of African savanna with a more diverse array of habitats which include open plains, semi desert scrub, woodland, Chyulu Hills and rock outcrops. It’s famous for the Red Elephants, Oryx, and Gerenuk among other mammal’s species and bird life. Other notable features include Mzima Springs, Shetani Lava Flow and Ash cones, which is an example of recent volcanic eruption. You may also be able to view hippo and crocodiles from the underwater glass tank.

Day 6: Tsavo West National Park

Two game drives are scheduled for this day. The extensive diverse habitats offer ideal area to search for pride of lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffe, zebras, hippos and wildebeests. The Park is a vast expansion of African savanna with a more diverse array of habitats which include open plains, semi desert scrub, woodland, Chyulu Hills and rock outcrops.
